Mike Duffy: When rising in each level in baseball, what has been the biggest challenge for you?
Yelin Rodriquez: My biggest challenge was how to compete at a higher level and to turn myself into professional baseball player but I adapted fast.
Mike Duffy: Who was your role model growing up?
Yelin Rodriquez: My role model was my dad he thought me to be a leader try to be the best in all of I being doing.
Mike Duffy: Do you consider yourself a leader on and off the field?
Yelin Rodriquez: Yep I consider my self a leader because every single time I want to be talking whit the guys and have very good relationship whit the team and coaches.
Mike Duffy: Who is your favorite player?
Yelin Rodriquez: My favorite player before drafted was Clayton Kershaw Right now i am my favorite player.
Mike Duffy: What was your favorite team growing up?
Yelin Rodriquez: My favorite team was the Pirates. Roberto Clemente was in that team, thats why.
Mike Duffy: Goals for this season?
Yelin Rodriquez: My goals for this season is improve the numbers of the past year.
Mike Duffy: How did draft day feel?
Yelin Rodriquez: I feel like a dream i never fell like that.
Mike Duffy: What’s your favorite stadium?
Yelin Rodriquez: My favorite stadium is our ballpark, Camden yards! I like the old school look.
Mike Duffy: What’s your favorite movie?
Yelin Rodriquez: My favorite movie is the sandlot.
Mike Duffy: Do you have a thing to do to get you out of a rough time?
Yelin Rodriquez: I just listen to music.
Mike Duffy: When did you know you wanted to play professional baseball?
Yelin Rodriquez: When I was in freshman in high school I want to be a Pro.
Mike Duffy: What’s your favorite thing about being a pitcher? Hardest thing?
Yelin Rodriquez: My favorite thing of being a pitcher is being the heart of the game you know every single eye is going to be on you.
