Mike Duffy: I was wondering when you go from high school to college to the minor leagues, what was the biggest challenge when you reach each stage?
Tyler Mark: I️ went to Concordia University in Southern California. I️ learned that each level you reach the hitters get better and stronger and they don’t miss mistakes.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite thing about being a Dback?
Tyler Mark: My favorite thing about being a DBack is the family environment they provide, I️ feel like everyone of my teammates is a family member.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite hobby besides baseball?
Tyler Mark: My hobbies besides baseball are: video games, reading, Netflix and sleeping.
Mike Duffy: What are your favorite books?
Tyler Mark: Ego is the Enemy and Tools of Titans.
Mike Duffy: Who was your favorite baseball player growing up?
Tyler Mark: My favorite player growing up was Mariano Rivera.
Mike Duffy: What was your favorite team growing up?
Tyler Mark: My favorite team growing up were the Yankees because of Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter.
Mike Duffy: Goals for this offseason?
Tyler Mark: My goals for this offseason are to get stronger mentally and physically.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite stadium?
Tyler Mark: Chase Field I️ hope to pitch there one day.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite movie/tv show?
Tyler Mark: My favorite TV show The Boondocks, favorite movie The Batman Trilogy.
Mike Duffy: Do you have a motto or a thing to do to get you out of a rough time?
Tyler Mark: My motto would be “everything is hard before it is easy”
Mike Duffy: What is one takeaway after this season?
Tyler Mark: One takeaway from this past season is that a full season is a long season, never get too high and never get too low. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Mike Duffy: Who is your favorite Musician and song?
Tyler Mark: Favorite musicians: Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean.
