Mike Duffy: I was wondering when you go from high school to Cal State Dominguez Hills, to the minor leagues, what was the biggest challenge when you reach each stage?
Brandon Polizzi: Honestly I can’t think of a challenge I believe i adapted pretty well everywhere and shined everywhere. High school I shined college I shined and 1 st year I shined if I had to say one 1 thing that challenged me was taking days off.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite thing about being a Blue Jay?
Brandon Polizzi: They make me feel like family like I’m part of something way bigger.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite hobby besides baseball?
Brandon Polizzi: Hunting fishing outdoors.
Mike Duffy: Who was your favorite baseball player growing up?
Brandon Polizzi: Derek Jeter because he set the example for All ball players.
Mike Duffy: What was your favorite team growing up?
Brandon Polizzi: The Yankees.
Mike Duffy: Goals for this offseason?
Brandon Polizzi: Get bigger stronger faster.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite stadium?
Brandon Polizzi: Old Yankee Stadium.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite movie?
Brandon Polizzi: Shooter.
Mike Duffy: Do you have a motto or a thing to do to get you out of a rough time?
Brandon Polizzi: Nobody cares how good you were yesterday how good are you today.
Mike Duffy: When did you know you wanted to play professional baseball?
Brandon Polizzi: Since I was 5 years old.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite baseball memory?
Brandon Polizzi: Being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays.
Mike Duffy: What is your biggest takeaway after this season?
Brandon Polizzi: How cool it is to be a professional ball player.
Mike Duffy: Who is your favorite Musician and song?
Brandon Polizzi: Metallica – nothing else matter because when I’m on that field nothing else matter but what I’m doing right now in that present moment.
