Mike Duffy: I was wondering when you go from high school, to the minor leagues, what was the biggest challenge when you reach each stage?

Gavin Lux: The competition just gets better and better at every level, and your weakness can be exposed more, so you just have to constantly make adjustments day in and day out to better yourself.

Mike Duffy: What is your favorite thing about being a Dodger?

Gavin Lux: Everything about being a dodger is awesome, it’s a family atmosphere and everyone truly cares about one and other and your development as a player and person, and just the history of the Dodgers.

Mike Duffy: What is your favorite hobby besides baseball?

Gavin Lux: I love playing video games, so I usually mix in call of duty and Fortnite at some point after my workouts.

Mike Duffy: Who was your favorite baseball player growing up?

Gavin Lux: I love Jeter growing up, the way he played the game and went about his business was first class.

Mike Duffy: What was your favorite team growing up?

Gavin Lux: I was a White Sox fan growing, my grandpa passed that down to me.

Mike Duffy: Do you have any game day superstitions?

Gavin Lux: I always have a cup of coffee before every game, and listen to music before I go out to stretch and do my routine.

Mike Duffy: What is your favorite stadium?

Gavin Lux: Fenway is my favorite stadium.

Mike Duffy: What is your favorite Movie? What is your favorite T.V. Show?

Gavin Lux: Training Day is my favorite movie. Favorite show is Game Of Thrones

Mike Duffy: Do you have a motto or a thing to do to get you out of a rough time?

Gavin Lux: “It’s all part of it” was a saying we started saying when things got tough haha.

Mike Duffy: When did you know you wanted to play professional baseball?

Gavin Lux: I never thought about playing Pro Baseball until really my sophomore or junior year in high school, college baseball was always my goal and as I got better I realized pro baseball was a reality.

Mike Duffy: What is your favorite baseball memory?

Gavin Lux: Favorite Baseball memory is draft night for sure, it was a special time for me and my family, and being around them to hear my name called was surreal, they sacrificed so much for me.
